Solana ETF Market Sees Rare Zero Net Flows as Institutions Exercise Selectivity
The Solana ETF market in the US has experienced an unusual phenomenon: zero net flows for five consecutive sessions. This rare occurrence started immediately after a significant $18.1 million outflow from Bitwise's BSOL fund on July 28.
According to data provided by Farside Investors, the six Solana spot ETFs listed in the US have seen no subscriptions or redemptions since July 29. This means that despite a cumulative total of $1.122 billion in net inflows as of August 4, only a fraction corresponds to genuine share creation after fund launches.
The high proportion of seed capital and conversions of pre-existing assets account for nearly 40% of the total accumulated assets under management. This distinction highlights that the absence of net creation does not indicate a total absence of economic activity in the secondary equity markets.
