Solana ETF Reaches $1 Billion AUM Amid Crypto Market Turmoil
Bitwise's Solana ETF has reached $1 billion in assets under management (AUM) just 10 months after its launch. The fund, trading under the ticker BSOL, achieved this milestone while crypto markets were under pressure, with most of the roughly $1 billion in inflows arriving during a bear market.
The Bitwise Solana Staking ETF is one of only three crypto assets with ETFs that have grown beyond $1 billion, alongside Bitcoin and Ether. This distinction matters as ETF scale can deepen liquidity, attract larger institutional allocators, and make an asset easier to access through conventional brokerage accounts.
Solana's recovery has reinforced the trend, with SOL climbing roughly 46% this month and about 80% above its June low. The token has moved back above $100, pushing its market capitalization above $60 billion.
