Solana ETFs Hit $1 Billion as Whales Dominate Futures Activity
Solana's spot exchange-traded funds (ETFs) have hit $1 billion in assets, driven by institutional investors. Goldman Sachs is among the top holders with a $108 million stake.
The Solana ETF market has seen five straight positive sessions, with funds pulling in $35.17 million last week. Bitwise's BSOL leads the pack with around 62% of the SOL ETF market, holding roughly $620 million in assets.
CryptoQuant data show that oversized whale orders have dominated Solana Futures activity since February, while spot volumes remain subdued. Retail participation has decreased significantly since November and December when SOL fell from near $190 to $120.
