Solana ETFs See Record Inflows as Institutional Appetite Accelerates
US spot Solana ETFs have seen their strongest week of 2026 so far, attracting over $153 million in net inflows. This marks a significant milestone for the asset class as institutional appetite continues to grow.
The surge was led by Bitwise's BSOL, which captured $40.2 million on August 27 and pushed its assets under management past $1 billion. The fund now holds around 9.3 million SOL tokens and accounts for approximately 77-80% of all capital that has ever flowed into the entire US spot Solana ETF category.
The staking component appears to be a key differentiator, allowing Solana's proof-of-stake architecture to generate yield for investors. This sets it apart from Bitcoin ETFs, which can only offer pure spot exposure.
