Solana ETFs Soar as Bitwise Fund Hits $1B Milestone
The Solana ETF category has seen an influx of investor demand in recent days. According to Glassnode, Solana spot ETFs recorded $138 million in net inflows over a period of 10 days. This represents the strongest period of investor interest since these products launched.
One notable day was August 25th when Solana products collectively attracted around $47 million in a single day. The total cumulative flows for the category amount to roughly $1.7 billion, as per Bloomberg ETF analyst Eric Balchunas.
Bitwise's Solana Staking ETF, BSOL, has emerged as the largest beneficiary, crossing $1 billion in Assets Under Management (AUM). This milestone was achieved in approximately 10 months since its launch in October 2025. The fund held 9,332,360.79 SOL, worth around $1.018 billion, as of August 26th.
While the ETF inflows may signal optimism for Solana's price, it is essential to note that SOL was trading at $104.05 at press time, after a drop of 3.1% in the past 24 hours but a hike of over 10% in the past week.
Solana's governance voting has also concluded, with the community approving two proposals, SGP-0001, 'The Solana Constitution,' and SGP-0002, 'Double Disinflation.' The latter doubles Solana's annual disinflation rate from 15% to 30%, allowing SOL to reach its 1.5% terminal inflation rate in about 2.8 years instead of 5.7 years.
