Solana Expands Transaction Limits by Over Threefold
The Solana blockchain is set to increase its maximum transaction size from 1,232 bytes to 4,096 bytes, allowing developers to fit more complex trades into a single operation.
This upgrade, known as Transaction v1, will give Solana's developers more than three times the space they previously had for instructions in a single transaction.
The new format is already running on Solana's test and development networks, but existing transaction formats will continue to work, so wallets and apps don't need to switch unless they require the extra space.
