Solana Favored by Analyst Grok to Reach New All-Time High First
XRP and Solana are both trading below their record highs as they head into the rest of 2026. Analyst Grok believes that Solana is more likely to reach a new all-time high first, despite XRP having a shorter recovery path to beat its previous ATH.
Grok's reasoning is based on capital efficiency, fundamentals, and the number of catalysts supporting Solana. At $58 billion market cap versus XRP's $85 billion, Solana needs less absolute dollar inflow to produce the same percentage price gain. Grok also points out that Solana has a history as a high-beta layer-1 token, which tends to show amplified upside once Bitcoin stabilizes or rallies.
Solana's ETF inflows are another key factor in Grok's pick, with cumulative inflows reaching $1.3 billion since the funds launched in late 2025. This is seen as a sign of sustained institutional interest and puts Solana in a strong position to reclaim its previous high.
Grok contrasts this with XRP, which relies heavily on the CLARITY Act clearing Congress for a potential catalyst. While XRP needs a smaller move to beat its previous ATH, it also carries more risk due to its dependence on a single regulatory outcome.
