Solana Joins Forces with XRP Ledger for Cross-Chain Trading

Solana's native cryptocurrency SOL is now available on the XRP Ledger DEX, thanks to a new interoperability milestone achieved by Axelar. This move connects Solana and the XRP Ledger, allowing users to access SOL on XRP Ledger-based platforms.

According to Hussein Zangana (Vet), XRP Ledger Foundation director of community, users can swap SOL on the XRPL DEX through various platforms such as XPMarket, First Ledger, Magnetic, and Xaman Wallet. They can also access SOL directly within Xaman Wallet through the Swap widget.

This development follows a trend that has increased since 2025, with several assets moving across chains. In fact, XRP went live on Solana earlier, and now it's Solana's turn to be available on XRP Ledger.

Vet issued a crucial warning to the XRP community, urging them to beware of fake tokens. He noted that Axelar is the only legitimate issuer of Wrapped SOL, and users should verify the issuer address before trading.
