Solana Network Proves Resilience Amid Outage

Solana's network stayed online despite an outage affecting 102 validators. The incident highlights the resilience of the Solana protocol, which continued to produce blocks and process transactions even with the infrastructure failure.

Jacob Creech, a technology executive at the Solana Foundation, explained that an infrastructure provider used by some validators failed overnight. However, the network remained active due to the distributed nature of validators across different providers.

The outage had minimal impact on SOL price, which remains in consolidation. Traders are watching whether steady futures buying can support a stronger move in the coming sessions.

Solana's network activity is also a concern for traders, with $1.652 billion in DEX volume and $4.77 million in app revenue recorded over the last 24 hours. These figures outpace other leading blockchain networks, including Ethereum.
