Solana's daily network revenue has exceeded $1 million for the first time in six months, according to recent data. The figure combines base fees, priority fees, and maximal extractable value (MEV) tips.

The revenue surge coincides with increased on-chain activity across the Solana ecosystem, with Solana-based applications generating a total of $82.9 million in revenue during July, their highest monthly level since February.

However, network revenue and application revenue are distinct metrics. Network revenue refers to income generated by the blockchain itself, including fees paid to validators and SOL that is burned.

Solana accounted for 16.5% of all protocol fees generated across blockchains in July, the third-highest share. Daily protocol fees reached $5.35 million on the 18th of last month, ranking first among all blockchains for the first time in roughly five months.
