South Korea's largest payment processor, KSNET, has partnered with the Solana Foundation to integrate Solana Pay into its network of over 330,000 merchants. This deal marks a significant milestone for the Solana ecosystem as it gains direct access to a mainstream Korean retail base.

KSNET, which operates in Korean payments since December 1999, will pilot Solana Pay and x402, an emerging standard for AI agent micropayments on Solana. The partnership aims to build digital asset payment infrastructure across KSNET's merchant network in South Korea.

The scale of this deal is substantial, with KSNET processing over $4 billion in monthly volume and handling roughly 130 million transactions every month. This access could give Solana a significant boost as it expands its presence in the Korean market.
