Solana Predicted to Soar to $2,000 by 2030, Standard Chartered Forecasts
Standard Chartered's head of digital asset research, Geoff Kendrick, has published some bullish price targets for Solana (SOL). According to Kendrick, Solana is expected to reach $135 by the end of this year, which is above its current price of $94. However, beyond 2026, he sees it growing significantly, reaching a price of $2,000 by 2030.
Standard Chartered's forecasts predict that Solana will rise to $400 in 2027, then $700 in 2028, and $1,200 in 2029, before ultimately hitting or surpassing $2,000 in 2030. Kendrick attributes this growth to Solana's maturing platform technology and ecosystem.
However, there are some challenges that need to be overcome for Solana to meet these price targets. Demand is a key factor, and stablecoin turnover and utilization will play a significant role. Additionally, value capture mechanisms are needed to tie network activity more directly to the coin's price.
