Solana Prediction Market World Expands to 1M Users

World, a prediction market platform on Solana, has launched its standalone website to over 1 million users from its waitlist. This expansion extends the operations the protocol had run preliminarily within the Phantom wallet since July 2026.

The platform now records more than 150,000 markets created across sports, politics, crypto, economy, and culture. These markets cover high-profile events such as NFL regular-season games, seven professional soccer leagues, Formula 1, and the US midterm elections scheduled for 2026.

Each contract trades under a binary scheme of closed 'yes' and 'no' options with values ranging between $0 and $1. The prices reflect the probability estimated by participants, settling at $1 for the winning outcome and $0 for the discarded option.
