Solana Prediction Market World Launches with 1 Million-User Waitlist
World, a prediction market platform, has launched on Solana with over one million users waiting to try it out. The launch includes markets for major sports events such as NFL regular-season games, soccer leagues, and Formula 1, as well as the 2026 U.S. midterm elections.
Users can also trade contracts linked to the Federal Reserve policy decision. All markets have 'yes' or 'no' contracts with prices ranging from $0 to $1, settled in CASH, Phantom's dollar-backed stablecoin.
World uses Chainlink Data Streams and the Chainlink Runtime Environment to provide market data and automated resolution. This eliminates human panels and token-holder votes for outcomes.
The platform is available on its standalone website and within Phantom, with plans to add equity up-and-down markets after the initial launch.
