Solana Price Drops Amid Strong Network Fundamentals

Solana's price has dropped to around $101.8 after a -1.3% retraction over the past 24 hours, despite strong fundamental numbers from the network.

The seven-day average fee generation hit nearly 9,200 SOL on August 27, more than 80% higher than three months prior, and non-vote transactions set a record of 191 million over seven days, up from 88 million a year earlier.

The 'Double Disinflation' measure passed with just over 67% support in the highest-turnout governance vote in Solana's history at 60.7% across 1,326 validators.
