Solana Price Hits $105 as Validators Cast Governance Vote
Solana's price surged to $105 on Thursday, its highest point since January 31, driven by strong gains across large-cap tokens. This marks a recovery for the token, which had slipped below $75 in early August before rebounding.
The U.S. spot Solana ETFs saw inflows of $9.14 million on August 26, marking their seventh consecutive positive session. Morgan Stanley's MSOL product accounted for $5.51 million of this influx, with the remainder spread thinly across other issuers.
Validators and delegators are voting on three proposals under Solana's first formal governance process, which could impact token emissions and resource fees. One proposal would double the annual disinflation rate to 30%, removing around 18.9 million SOL from scheduled emissions over six years.
