Solana Price Teeters on Break as $6B Leverage Piles In
Solana's price is poised for a significant move as $6 billion in leverage piles into the market. The cryptocurrency has been trapped in a tight range, squeezed between $99 and $102, with the 20-, 50-, and 200-day averages stacked bullishly for the first time in months.
The recovery has been nearly complete, with Solana's price fluctuating between $60.28 and $110.77 since June. The current horizontal shelf near $98.85 is a key support level, defended by buyers on every dip over the past two weeks.
Derivatives positioning has rebuilt, with open interest reaching $6.10 billion as of September 12. This indicates new positions opening rather than short sellers closing out, which could amplify the price move in either direction.
