Solana Price Tests Crucial Support Zone Amid Market Capitalization Decline
Solana's price has been testing the $69-$74 support zone as it attempts to stabilize after a sharp decline of over 75% from its peak at approximately $295. This retracement erased three-quarters of the token's rally and returned Solana to an area that previously formed part of its base.
The chart shows that SOL is consolidating near this area, but has not yet produced a confirmed bullish reversal. A sustained defense of $69 would keep the possibility of a broader bottom alive, while buyers need to push SOL above the recent consolidation range near $80-$85 to show short-term momentum is improving.
However, if Solana's price breaks below $69, it would weaken the developing base and increase the risk of a move toward the $60 area. The market capitalization remains near $42.8 billion, showing that the network's valuation has contracted sharply alongside the token's price.
