Solana Projects Gain Traction in August 2026: Pump.fun, Jito, Raydium, Grass, The Black Bull
Solana's token ecosystem has been making waves in August 2026, with various projects attracting attention from traders. Five names have consistently been mentioned in trader conversations: Pump.fun, Jito, Raydium, Grass, and The Black Bull.
These tokens were selected based on real, verifiable activity, such as revenue, TVL (total value locked), burn amounts, or user counts. They cover a range of categories, including memecoin launchpads, staking/MEV protocols, DEXs, DePIN networks, and community meme coins.
Each token has a live catalyst in play, with events such as buyback mechanics, restaking expansion, and LaunchLab rivalry contributing to their growth. No token was included based on paid placement, but rather earned its spot through data alone.
The shortlist includes Pump.fun, a memecoin launchpad with real revenue; Jito, a liquid staking token with MEV strategies; Raydium, an on-chain order book AMM; Grass, a DePIN bandwidth provider; and The Black Bull, a liquidity and index layer for creator ecosystems.
While these tokens show promise, they also have weaknesses and risks. Pump.fun's price is still below its 2025 all-time high, despite buybacks, while Jito has seen a steep decline in the past month. Raydium's market cap sits well below its TVL, but it has lost its previous default relationship with Pump.fun.
