Solana Sees Record Token Creation as Pump.fun Dominates Revenue
Solana has reached a new milestone in token creation, issuing a record 263,000 new tokens in a single day. This surge in activity comes as the network continues to process a high volume of transactions, with over 216 million non-vote transactions processed in one day in August 2026.
The growth of Solana's real-world asset value is also notable, having recently surpassed $4 billion across approximately 350,000 addresses, according to the Solana Foundation. This expansion is driven by protocols such as Pump.fun, which has become the leading Solana-native protocol and generated over $1.8 million in revenue within a 24-hour period.
In Q1 2026, Pump.fun accounted for one-third of Solana's total revenue, generating $124 million out of $342 million. This represents a significant contribution to the overall ecosystem.
