Solana Sees Spike in Tokenized Stock Trading Amid Growing Institutional Demand
Solana is gaining attention as it pushes for 24/7 tokenized stock trading. According to CryptoRus, this development could give Solana a real-world use case by allowing markets to trade after traditional hours. The analyst points out that 63% of tokenized-equity activity on the Solana network occurs after the closing bell.
The number of Solana holders has surpassed 727,000, with the platform's TVL up 6.6% to $5.86 billion. In comparison, Ethereum's TVL rose 56% but remains significantly higher at $49.97 billion. Spot ETH ETFs have seen more than $216 million in net inflows last Friday, marking a fourth straight week of growth.
The wider tokenization market is also experiencing significant growth, with DEX volume reaching $15.9 billion and tokenized stocks such as SPY and QQQb recording large gains in market capitalization.
