Solana Smashes Monthly Transaction Record with 23% Surge

Solana has set a new all-time high for monthly transactions in August 2026, processing over 5.2 billion non-vote transactions.

This represents a 23% increase from July's roughly 4.24 billion transactions and the second consecutive month of historic throughput for the network.

The surge in transaction activity has coincided with rapid growth in Solana's stablecoin ecosystem, with circulating supply reaching approximately $14.7 billion in August, up from around $5 billion a year earlier.

This suggests that Solana is increasingly being used for real-world financial activity rather than speculative trading alone.
