Solana Smashes Record with 5.2 Billion Transactions Amid Strong SOL Price Rally

Solana's blockchain activity reached a new milestone in August, processing a record-breaking 5.2 billion non-vote transactions.

This represents an increase of 19% from July, which had also set a transaction record for the network.

The surge in Solana transactions coincided with a significant rally in its native cryptocurrency SOL, which climbed to around $109 in August.

This marked a 41% gain for SOL and made it one of the strongest months since November 2024.
