Solana's daily token issuance has hit a record high of 263,000 new SPL tokens on September 9, 2026, driven primarily by memecoins created via Pump.fun.

This figure far exceeds the previous record of 40,000 to 50,000 daily tokens reached in December 2024.

Pump.fun's dominance in token issuance is clear, with 34,184 crypto tokens representing 85% of emissions.

However, despite the hype surrounding memecoins, Solana's real strength lies in its revenue generation.

The network generated a staggering $5.09 million in daily revenues on September 9, outpacing its nearest competitor, BSC, by 50%.
