Solana Soars 13% as Network Speed Upgrade Looms

Solana (SOL) has seen a significant price surge in recent days, climbing 13.45% over 24 hours and 13.90% over seven days to reach $87.94.

This rally follows the token's breakout from a consolidation range between $74 and $77, with SOL pushing toward its recent swing high at $87.33.

The Solana network is also set to undergo an upgrade, increasing its clock speed to 350ms, which could further boost crypto adoption and DeFi activity.

However, despite the bullish momentum, falling open interest near $5.65B signals cautious leveraged positioning among traders.
