Solana's price surged by 5% after Firedancer, a validator client developed by Jump Crypto, launched on its mainnet.

The client completed more than 100 days of controlled testing before transitioning to active validation on the live network.

Firedancer uses C and C++ programming languages to handle heavy transaction loads and reduce downtime risks, with test environments reportedly processing over 1 million transactions per second.

Solana co-founder Anatoly Yakovenko described the launch as an exit from the network's extended beta period.
