Solana's decentralized finance (DeFi) landscape is experiencing significant changes. Raydium, a leading decentralized exchange (DEX), has taken a major lead with a 60% market share. This comes as overall DeFi activity cools off and meme coins begin to shift towards Tron.

Data from DeFiLlama shows that the total value locked across major blockchains has reached $77 billion, with Ethereum still holding the top spot. However, Solana is gaining ground.

Raydium's user base is exploding, with over 200,000 active users daily, according to Artemis data shared by an analyst on X. This puts it far ahead of competing protocols.

Solana's daily active addresses have hit an all-time high, averaging 5.5 million users. Analysts attribute this success to Solana's base layer scalability, which gives it an edge over Ethereum and its layer-2 solutions.
