Solana Spot ETFs Boom with Record Inflows Amid Crypto Market Slump
Solana spot ETFs have attracted significant attention in recent days, pulling in $138 million in net inflows across just 10 days. This marks a record for the category and demonstrates investor confidence in the Solana ecosystem.
The largest single-day inflow was on Tuesday, with funds attracting $47 million. Bitwise's BSOL has been leading the pack, now holding approximately 9.3 million SOL and managing over $1 billion in assets under management (AUM).
This milestone makes BSOL the first Solana ETF to reach $1 billion AUM, exactly 10 months after its launch. According to Bitwise president Teddy Fusaro, BSOL has managed to grow despite being roughly 40% below its listing price and about 60% below its all-time high.
The growth in Solana spot ETFs is a positive sign for the ecosystem, with $1.7 billion in cumulative flows recorded across the category. However, SOL's price fell by 4.26% to $103.58, tracking the broader crypto market sell-off caused by rising risk aversion following hawkish Federal Reserve commentary.
