Solana Staking ETF Sees Record $25M Influx Amid Crypto Downturn
Bitwise's Solana staking ETF, BSOL, saw its biggest day yet on August 24, attracting $25 million in inflows. This brought the cumulative net purchases of SOL to a staggering $948.2 million since BSOL launched on October 28, 2025.
The influx of funds represents the lion's share of the $33.5 million that flowed into all Solana ETFs on the same day, pushing total net inflows across US spot Solana products to a record-breaking $1.22 billion.
BSOL has dominated the Solana ETF market since its launch, accounting for approximately 80% of all inflows into US spot Solana ETFs. Two key factors contribute to this success: BSOL stakes 100% of its SOL holdings, generating network rewards estimated at around 6%, and it boasts an aggressively competitive fee structure, with a management fee of just 0.20%.
The staking mechanism has been particularly lucrative for Bitwise, generating approximately $17.7 million in income over the first half of 2026, when subscriptions to BSOL alone reached $267.1 million.
