Solana Staking ETF Sets Record Trading Volume
Bitwise's Solana staking ETF has set a new record for daily trading volume, reaching $108 million. This milestone marks one of the strongest single-day trading volumes since the product's launch and indicates growing institutional interest in regulated crypto-yield wrappers.
The fund, which trades under the ticker BSOL, offers spot Solana exposure alongside a staking yield component, allowing traditional finance players to gain access to Solana without directly managing wallets or validator relationships.
According to reports, inflows into the fund reached $25 million, suggesting genuine demand and not just short-term trading activity. The distinction between volume and inflows is crucial in assessing the product's performance.
The staking label carries significant weight as it allows regulators to examine the product in a different light. This structure has been the subject of recent SEC filings covering ETH and SOL ETFs with staking rewards.
