Solana Stalls at $74 as July Rally Fizzles
Solana's July rally has fizzled out, leaving the token stuck near $74. Although July is historically one of Solana's strongest months, with a median return of 21.4% over its previous six Julys, this year's recovery fell short of expectations.
The token briefly climbed above $82 in early July but surrendered much of those gains, leaving it well below its January 2025 peak near $294. At the time of analysis, SOL traded at around $74.28, slightly below the Bollinger Band midpoint of $74.93.
The technical indicators suggest a market waiting for direction. Solana's Average Directional Index (ADX) stood at 13.53, well below the widely watched 20 threshold, which typically signals a developing trend. The Negative Directional Indicator (-DI) measured 22.56, compared with 16.82 for the +DI, giving sellers a modest advantage.
