Solana Surges Amid Market Freeze as Dogecoin Eyes Breakout
Solana has reached an all-time high in onchain activity despite a market freeze, according to recent data. This surge in Solana's onchain activity comes as other cryptocurrencies such as Bitcoin and Ethereum are experiencing stagnant price movements. Meanwhile, Dogecoin is poised for a potential breakout, with its weekly active addresses increasing by 16%.
Bitcoin has been attempting to steady its recovery towards $65,000 but has repeatedly rejected this level, leaving the market without a confirmed breakout during Thursday's cautious trading session. The cryptocurrency did climb about 0.9% toward $65,000 after rebounding from $62,200.
RWA perpetuals have generated $61.7 billion in seven-day volume, reaching 99.2% of Bitcoin perpetual turnover across Hyperliquid and Binance. This significant increase in RWA trading activity highlights the growing interest in tokenized equities. However, Bitcoin's price drop below $64,000 may indicate a shift in market sentiment.
