Solana Surges on Network Upgrades and ETF Inflows
Solana has experienced a significant price surge of approximately 4.4% over the last 24 hours, trading near $104 with a substantial 24-hour volume of around $3.1 billion.
This move is attributed to a combination of factors, including recent network upgrades and ETF inflows, which have contributed to Solana's relatively strong performance compared to other altcoins.
The upgrade to Transaction V1 on September 9 increased the maximum transaction size from approximately 1,232 bytes to 4,096 bytes on mainnet, enhancing network capacity and developer flexibility.
The upcoming Alpenglow finality upgrade is expected to further improve Solana's performance, reducing transaction finality to around 150 milliseconds and making it more viable for latency-sensitive use cases.
