Solana Surges Past $4 Billion in RWA Value Amid Dominant Inflow
Solana has taken the lead in RWA (Reference Wallet Account) flows, pulling in $348 million in net inflows over the last 30 days. According to the RWA Foundation X account, Solana's dominance is a significant milestone for the blockchain. The Solana network recorded an impressive 11.13% increase in its RWA value, which now stands at $4.23 billion.
This growth can be attributed to the increasing adoption of tokenized Treasury products on the Solana blockchain. Circle's USYC tokenized money market fund and BlackRock's BUIDL are among the notable products available on the platform. Ondo Finance also runs two Treasury-linked products on Solana, providing exposure to short-term U.S. Treasuries and government bonds.
As a result of this growth, RWA holders have increased by 17.63% in the last 30 days, reaching 398,644. The Solana blockchain is also gearing up for its most ambitious upgrade yet, codenamed Alpenglow. This upgrade aims to replace Proof of History and Tower BFT with a redesigned consensus protocol for near-instant finality and responsiveness.
