Solana Surges Past $90 as ChainSpin Gains Momentum
Solana's SOL token has broken above $90 after surging roughly 25% over the past week. The price spike coincides with increased institutional demand, as U.S.-listed Solana ETFs attracted approximately $28.3 million in inflows during the week ending August 21.
ChainSpin, another crypto project, is also gaining momentum. Its token, SPIN, currently costs $0.0125 in Stage 1 of 12 and has already sold over $100,000 within hours of launch. The project plans to add prediction markets as a third product room alongside its existing Cas.ino and sportsbook.
The planned revenue model allocates 8% of prediction-market generated revenue toward SPIN buybacks once the product is operational. This would sit alongside the existing model assigning 12% of Cas.ino generated revenue and 15% of sportsbook generated revenue toward open-market SPIN purchases.
