Solana outperformed major centralized exchanges in August trading volume, marking its second consecutive month at the top.

The blockchain's high-performance capabilities allowed it to process substantial spot trading volumes, with up to 65,000 transactions per second.

This surge in trading volume is attributed to both ecosystem expansion and the rising tokenization of real-world assets, which has pushed Solana's on-chain asset base towards $4 billion.
