Solana Surges to $105 Amid Governance Vote and Strong ETF Inflows
Solana's price surged to $105 on Thursday, marking its highest level since January 31. The token led gains across large-cap digital assets and was bolstered by a seventh consecutive day of inflows into U.S. spot ETFs.
The funds took in $9.14 million on August 26, with Morgan Stanley's MSOL product accounting for the majority of that amount at $5.51 million. This streak began on August 18 and peaked on August 24, when the funds pulled in a record $33.5 million.
Validators and delegators are voting on three proposals related to governance, issuance, and network fees. One proposal aims to double the annual disinflation rate from 15% to 30%, while another reworks resource fees, which could lead to a significant increase in daily token burns.
