Solana Surges to $105 as Governance Vote Concludes
Solana's price surged on Thursday to reach $105, its highest point since January 31. The token led gains among large-cap tokens and was followed by a broader market rally. Bitcoin returned to $80,000, Ether reclaimed $2,550, and XRP recovered towards $1.45.
U.S. spot Solana ETFs saw their seventh consecutive day of inflows on Thursday, with $9.14 million entering the funds. Morgan Stanley's MSOL product accounted for $5.51 million of this total. The cumulative net inflows now stand near $1.26 billion, or about 2.2% of the token's market value.
Validators and delegators concluded voting on Thursday on three proposals filed under Solana's governance process. One proposal would double the annual disinflation rate from 15% to 30%, removing around 18.9 million SOL from scheduled emissions over six years.
