The Solana blockchain has taken the lead in USDC stablecoin activity, accounting for nearly 40% of monthly senders. According to data from Token Terminal, the number of USDC senders across all blockchains hit a fresh all-time high of roughly 14.1 million, with Solana dominating this metric.

This comes after Circle printed a fresh $290 million worth of USDC on the Solana chain in late August. The network's low fees and fast settlement times have made it an attractive destination for users looking to transfer value on-chain.

While Solana leads in USDC transfers, Ethereum remains the largest stablecoin ecosystem, with a total supply of $162.4 billion worth of USDC. However, the data suggests that Solana's usability and speed are key factors driving its adoption.
