Solana Tokenized Equity Volumes Soar, Testing Key Price Barrier
Solana's tokenized equity market is experiencing rapid growth, with volumes exceeding $200 million. This surpasses that of NASDAQ and NYSE in tokenized equities. Raydium captured about 70% of this activity, providing the primary source of liquidity.
The expansion of Solana's tokenized-equity market offers traders a growing pool of assets to trade. The supply of tokenized equities reached a record $684 million last week, marking a 47% increase in just three weeks.
This growth is attributed to several issuers launching stock products on Solana, including xStocks, Ondo, Backpack Securities, Sunrise, Superstate, and Securitize. These platforms offer over 100 different types of tokenized equities and ETFs, expanding the market beyond a handful of assets.
Solana's price is currently trading near $101.48, testing the $102.50 barrier. A sustained break above this level could signal that buyers are overcoming repeated resistance and expose the upper $107.50 level.
