Solana Tokenized Stock Trading Volume Surges 2400-Fold
Solana-based tokenized stocks have seen an astonishing surge in trading volume over the past year, rising to $3.32 billion from just $1.34 million a year ago.
This represents a staggering increase of over 2,400-fold, underscoring the rapid adoption of blockchain technology in the financial sector.
The Solana network has seen significant growth in tokenized stock trading volume, with $4.9 billion traded in the first half of this year alone, more than six times the $775 million recorded in the second half of last year.
Institutional investors are also taking notice, with Japan's SBI Holdings partnering with the Solana Foundation to build on-chain financial infrastructure in Japan and jointly handle yen-linked stablecoins and tokenized assets.
