Solana Trader Suffers $2.2M Loss After Dumping 31k Tokens
A large Solana (SOL) trader has made a significant loss after dumping its entire stack of 31,862 SOL for $3.25 million. According to Lookonchain, the wallet in question, identified as 9VQbih, acquired the tokens at $182 each back in August 2025 for a total of $5.47 million.
The trader also collected 1,860 SOL in staking rewards over time, but ultimately locked in a loss of $2.2 million. The sale occurred at a price of around $102.97 per SOL, which is within the Bollinger Bands on the 4-hour chart.
Solana's price action has been showing signs of near-term volatility exhaustion, with the MACD death cross and neutral RSI suggesting that any further price movement could be significant. The EMA50 continues to act as dynamic support at $100.25, while the EMA200 remains anchored at $87.33.
