Solana Validators Get Custom Compliance Controls via Flowra and Honeypot
Flowra and Honeypot have collaborated to bring configurable compliance controls directly into Solana's block-building layer. The integration combines Honeypot's compliance intelligence with Flowra's Programmable Block Policy (PBP), giving validators greater flexibility over how transactions and bundles are evaluated during block construction.
The framework allows each validator to independently determine whether compliance policies are applied and how those policies are configured. Initially, the implementation will support screening against sanctions-related criteria, including wallet addresses associated with sanctioned entities, alongside network-level indicators such as VPNs, proxy services, and Tor exit nodes.
Flowra's Programmable Block Policy is designed to address a gap in compliance capabilities for validators while maintaining independent control over their infrastructure. This approach preserves validator autonomy while expanding the compliance capabilities available to regulated infrastructure operators.
