Solana Validators Get Sanctions Screening Built Right In
Flowra and Honeypot have partnered to integrate sanctions screening directly into Solana's block construction process. This integration will allow validators to screen transactions against sanctioned entities, wallet addresses, and network-level indicators before they are included on-chain.
The problem of compliance in the blockchain space has become increasingly pressing as institutional capital flows into Solana. The U.S. Treasury's Office of Foreign Assets Control requires financial institutions and virtual asset service providers to screen and block transactions involving sanctioned parties.
Flowra's Programmable Block Policies (PBP) system will now include Honeypot's compliance intelligence, which specializes in detecting network obfuscation. This means that validators can set their own policies for screening transactions, rather than relying on a universal compliance standard across the network.
The integration is designed to support additional enterprise compliance providers over time, and will launch with sanctions screening, wallet screening, and auditability for regulated institutions.
