Solana Validators Get Sanctions Screening Directly in Block Building
Flowra and Honeypot have partnered to bring sanctions screening directly into the block-building process for Solana. The integration combines compliance intelligence from Honeypot with Flowra's Programmable Block Policy (PBP), allowing institutional validators to define their own compliance rules.
The collaboration will initially focus on sanctions screening, wallet screening, and auditability for regulated institutions. This is designed to support screening against criteria such as wallet addresses associated with sanctioned entities, network-level indicators like VPNs and Tor exit nodes, which account for an estimated 31-61% of traffic.
Each validator will define its own policy, preserving their autonomy while giving operators greater flexibility over block-building decisions. This is intended to support the growth of institutional participation in Solana, where public blockchains have become increasingly attractive but infrastructure has not evolved to meet regulatory requirements.
