Solana Validators Get Sanctions Screening via Flowra and Honeypot Partnership
Flowra and Honeypot have partnered to bring sanctions screening directly into the block-building process of Solana. This integration combines Flowra's Programmable Block Policy (PBP) with Honeypot's compliance intelligence, enabling validators to define their own rules for transaction selection.
The collaboration initially focuses on sanctions-related screening, including wallet addresses associated with sanctioned entities and network-level indicators such as VPNs and Tor exit nodes. This framework has also been designed to support additional enterprise compliance providers over time, allowing validators to incorporate different solutions as institutional requirements evolve.
As blockchain infrastructure attracts greater participation from regulated financial institutions, validators are increasingly expected to operate within compliance frameworks while supporting decentralized networks. Flowra's Programmable Block Policy gives validators the flexibility to operate in a way that reflects their own requirements without reducing validator autonomy.
