Solana's Billion-Dollar Staking Giants and Mysterious Whales

Solana's staking landscape is dominated by a few large players, according to Stakingintel.live statistics.

At current prices of $101.75 per SOL, Coinbase ranks as Solana's largest SOL staker, holding 24 million SOL worth roughly $2.45 billion.

This represents about 2.33% of the $105 billion in aggregate assets Arkham Intelligence estimates Coinbase holds.

The Solana Foundation's staking withdraw authority is a close second with 23,714,063 SOL, valued at approximately $2.42 billion.

Binance and Jito also have significant stakes, with their respective pools holding around 10,390,491 SOL and 10,272,500 SOL.

However, things get mysterious when looking at the top five positions, as four unknown whales occupy spots six to ten on the leaderboard, collectively controlling more than 20.6 million staked SOL worth approximately $2.1 billion.
