Solana's Bullish Momentum May Fuel Price Surge to $130
The Solana (SOL) price has been impacted by intense bearish pressure since late September 2025, causing it to decline steeply from its peak near $250. This downward trend continued through subsequent months, dismantling major historical support zones along the way.
In early 2026, the market entered a phase of friction between buyers and sellers, resulting in severe range-bound consolidation following a mid-February rebound off the lower boundary of a falling wedge pattern. Multiple breakout attempts in March and May were aggressively rejected at the key $97 resistance level, eventually sending the price tumbling to a low of $60 by early June.
However, momentum shifted in August when SOL breached the 200-day EMA to the upside and climbed to $91. If buyers successfully reclaim the $97 level next, then a move toward the $130 mark becomes a strong possibility, which is also the midpoint of the falling wedge.
