Solana's decentralized application (dApp) ecosystem surged to $143.23 million in revenue for August, marking a significant rebound from July's figures.
This represents a 38.1% market share of the $375.53 million collected across all blockchains analyzed by DefiLlama, surpassing its primary competitors in fee volume generated by dApps.
The network processed 5.2 billion non-vote transactions during the month, reaching an all-time monthly high and cementing Solana's position as the decentralized application revenue leader for nine consecutive quarters.
Pump.fun, a memecoin issuance and trading platform, was the driving force behind this growth, contributing $58.2 million to the total revenue and capturing 40.6% of the total application layer monetization.
