Solana's decentralized application (DApp) ecosystem reached a significant milestone last week by generating $35 million in revenue, its highest weekly total in 29 weeks. This notable rebound comes after months of more modest figures.

The majority of this revenue is coming from Pump.fun, the memecoin launchpad that has become synonymous with Solana's consumer-facing identity. The platform has been generating between $8 million and $12 million in revenue over recent seven-day periods, with its lifetime revenue now exceeding $1 billion.

DeFi protocols Jupiter and Raydium continue to serve as the network's trading backbone. Jupiter routes swaps across the ecosystem's liquidity pools, while Raydium provides automated market-making infrastructure that underpins much of the network's trading volume.

The top-performing apps on Solana claim a striking 60-78% of total revenue, according to analytics from DeFiLlama and SolanaFloor. This concentration of revenue among a small number of applications means the ecosystem's headline metrics are vulnerable to idiosyncratic shocks.
